Pembroke Tree Plannting - BSA 100th Anniversary

On Sunday, June 13, 2010, scouts from Troops 105 & 43 and Packs 105 & 43 gathered at the Memorial Park in front of the First Church in Pembroke Center to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) by planting two tree and having a ceremony. A committee led by Ms. Rennee Spring, organized the commemoration and invited community leaders and BSA Leaders to participate. Thank you Mrs. Spring for your perseverance on behalf of the two Packs and the two Troops in Pembroke. You led a wonderful effort for inter-unit relations. Thank You!

As part of the Program, selected scouts shared what scouting has meant to them.
